York Rhythm Tap is a dance school based in the city of York, UK. Founded in 2018, the school has quickly become one of the leading tap schools in the region. We offer classes for all levels of dancers, from beginners to advanced, and our instructors are all highly experienced and passionate about their craft.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for dancers of all levels to learn, grow, and develop their skills in tap. We believe in the power of the art form to bring joy and inspiration, and we strive to create a space in which everyone can express themselves and find their own unique style.

Our Classes

At York Rhythm Tap, we offer a variety of classes for all levels of dancers. Our beginner classes are designed to teach the basics of tap, such as rhythm and timing, as well as basic steps and combinations. We also offer classes for more advanced dancers, such as our Tap Improv class, which focuses on improvisation and developing your own style.

We also offer private lessons for those who want to focus on specific aspects of tap, or who need more individual attention. Our instructors are experienced in teaching both adults and children, and we offer classes for all ages and skill levels.
