Wright Theatre Arts Dance Academy is a dance school based in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. The school offers a wide range of classes for all ages and abilities, including ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, hip hop, and more. We pride ourselves on providing a safe and welcoming environment for our students to learn and grow.

Location

The school has three locations in Ilkley, each with its own unique atmosphere and facilities. The main location is at All Saints C Of E Primary School, Easby Dr, Ilkley LS29 9BE. This location offers a range of classes for all ages and abilities, as well as a dedicated studio for rehearsals and performances. The second location is at 20 Cheltenham Ave, Ilkley LS29 8BN. This location offers classes for young children, as well as a dedicated studio for rehearsals and performances. The third location is at St Johns Church, Bolling Road, Ilkley LS29 8PN. This location offers classes for adults, as well as a dedicated studio for rehearsals and performances.

Classes

The school offers a wide range of classes for all ages and abilities, including ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, hip hop, and more. We also offer special classes for young children, such as our Tiny Toes program, which is designed to introduce pre-schoolers to the joys of dance. Our classes are taught by experienced and qualified instructors, and we strive to create an environment where our students can learn, grow, and express themselves.

Performances

Wright Theatre Arts Dance Academy also offers a range of performance opportunities for our students. We have an annual recital, which showcases our students’ hard work and dedication. We also offer performance opportunities in the local community, such as at festivals and other events. We strive to provide our students with the opportunity to showcase their talent and hard work.

Facilities

At each of our locations, we have a dedicated studio for rehearsals and performances. Our studios are equipped with the latest sound and lighting systems, as well as sprung floors, mirrors, and ballet barres. We also have a range of props and costumes for our students to use in their performances.
