Westcourt Tango is a dance school, dance hall and performance venue located in Whitstable, Kent. We specialize in Tango and offer classes, private lessons, and regular social dancing events. Our mission is to provide a welcoming and inspiring environment for everyone to enjoy and learn about Tango.

History

Westcourt Tango was founded in 2014 by professional Tango dancers, Tom and Sarah Westcourt. They had a passion for teaching and wanted to create a space where people could come and learn the art of Tango. Since then, the school has grown and now has three locations in Kent; Nunnery Fields in Canterbury, Coxhill in Shepherdswell, and Tower Hill in Whitstable.

Classes

Westcourt Tango offers classes for all levels of dancers, from complete beginners to experienced professionals. We have a range of classes available, from weekly classes to private lessons. We also offer workshops and special events throughout the year.

Social Dancing

In addition to our classes, we also host regular social dancing events. These are a great opportunity for people to get together and practice their Tango steps in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We also have a monthly milonga, where people can come and enjoy a night of Tango music and dancing.

Performance Venue

Westcourt Tango is also a performance venue. We host regular shows and performances, featuring some of the best Tango dancers in the UK. We also offer space for hire, for those looking to host their own events.
