Walsall Folk Dance Club is a vibrant and welcoming community of dancers from Walsall and the surrounding area. We are a friendly group, with a passion for all forms of folk dance, from traditional English country dancing to modern folk dance styles. We are dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all our members, and to fostering a sense of community and camaraderie.
Walsall Folk Dance Club was founded in 1989, and since then has grown to become one of the most popular clubs in the Midlands. We are proud of our long-standing tradition of providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all our members.
The club meets every Wednesday evening at Rushall Parish Church Hall, Leigh Rd, Walsall WS4 2DS. The hall is a large, spacious venue with plenty of room for everyone. We provide a range of refreshments, including tea and coffee, as well as a selection of soft drinks and snacks.
At Walsall Folk Dance Club, we offer a range of activities for our members. We have regular classes and workshops in different styles of folk dance, as well as regular social events and dances. We also host a range of special events throughout the year, such as themed evenings, competitions, and performances.
Our instructors are experienced and qualified, and they are passionate about folk dance. They are dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all our members, and they strive to ensure that everyone can get the most out of their experience.
We welcome all levels of experience, from complete beginners to experienced dancers. Membership is available on a monthly or annual basis, and we also offer discounts for students and families.
