Our History

Wallace Dance Academy was established in 2011 by professional dancer and choreographer, Rachel Wallace. Rachel has been teaching dance in the UK for over 20 years and has worked with some of the leading dance companies and schools in the country. She is passionate about providing quality dance education and has dedicated her career to helping others learn and grow as dancers.

What We Offer

At Wallace Dance Academy, we offer a variety of classes and activities for all ages and abilities. Our classes range from beginner to advanced levels, and include ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, tap, and more. We also have a range of dance clubs and teams, including our competitive dance team, which competes in regional and national competitions.

We also offer a wide range of classes and activities for children and young people. Our classes are designed to be fun and engaging, while teaching the fundamentals of dance in a safe and supportive environment. We also offer holiday camps and workshops throughout the year, which are great for children to have fun and learn new skills.

Our Facilities

Wallace Dance Academy is based at Spital Lane Studios in Chesterfield, UK. Our studios are fully equipped with sprung floors, mirrors, and a range of equipment to help you get the most out of your dance classes. We also have a range of changing rooms and showers, so you can get ready for your classes in comfort.
