VWID Academy: An Introduction

VWID Academy is a dance school located in Swindon, UK. Founded in 2006, the school has been teaching students of all ages and abilities how to dance for over 14 years. Our instructors are highly experienced, having trained with some of the best dancers in the UK and abroad. We offer classes in Irish, Ballroom, Latin, and Street dance, as well as private lessons and workshops.

At VWID Academy, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn how to dance. We strive to provide a safe and supportive environment for our students, where they can express themselves freely and develop their skills. Our instructors are passionate about teaching and committed to helping our students reach their full potential.

Our Classes

At VWID Academy, we offer a range of classes for all levels and abilities. Our classes are designed to be fun and engaging, while also teaching the fundamentals of each dance style. We offer classes in Irish, Ballroom, Latin, and Street dance, as well as private lessons and workshops.

Irish Dance

Irish Dance classes at VWID Academy are designed to teach the fundamentals of Irish Dance. Our instructors will teach you the basics of the steps, as well as the traditional Irish music and culture that goes along with it.

Ballroom

Our Ballroom classes will teach you the fundamentals of Ballroom dancing, including the Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, and more. Our instructors will help you develop your technique and style, and you’ll learn the basics of leading and following.

Latin

Our Latin classes focus on the classic Latin dances, such as the Cha Cha, Samba, and Rumba. Our instructors will teach you the steps and technique, as well as the traditional Latin music and culture that goes along with it.

Street Dance

Our Street Dance classes will teach you the fundamentals of Street Dance, including the basics of popping, locking, and breaking. Our instructors will help you develop your style and technique, and you’ll learn the basics of freestyle and improvisation.

Private Lessons & Workshops

At VWID Academy, we also offer private lessons and workshops for those who are looking to take their dancing to the next level. Our instructors are highly experienced and can help you develop your technique and style.
