TheatreWorks Performing Arts is a dance school located in Leicester, UK. Our mission is to provide quality instruction in the art of dance to both children and adults. We offer classes in a variety of styles including ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, and hip hop.

Our History

TheatreWorks Performing Arts was founded in 2002 by professional dancer and choreographer, Emma Smith. Emma has been teaching dance for over 20 years and has had the privilege of working with some of the world’s leading companies, including the Royal Ballet and the English National Ballet.

Emma wanted to create a place where students of all ages and abilities could come and learn the art of dance in a safe and supportive environment. She opened the doors of TheatreWorks with the aim of inspiring the next generation of dancers.

At TheatreWorks, we are proud to have a team of highly qualified and experienced teachers. Our teachers are passionate about dance and are dedicated to helping our students reach their full potential.

We are also proud to have a team of professional dancers who work with us to create exciting and innovative performances. Our dancers have performed in shows around the world and have been featured in some of the most prestigious dance festivals.
