About Us

Theatretrain Bury St Edmunds is a performing arts group based in Bury Saint Edmunds, Suffolk. We are dedicated to providing children the opportunity to develop their creativity and performance skills while having lots of fun. We offer a variety of classes in dance, drama and singing for children aged 3 to 18 years old. Our classes are designed to help children to grow in confidence, develop their performance skills and make new friends.

At Theatretrain Bury St Edmunds, we believe in teaching children to be creative and to use their imagination. We strive to create an environment that is both fun and safe, where children can explore their talents and develop their skills. Our classes are taught by experienced and qualified teachers who are passionate about helping children to reach their potential.

Our Classes

We offer a variety of classes for children aged 3 to 18 years old. Our classes include:

• Dance classes – We offer a range of dance classes in a variety of styles including jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary and hip hop. Our classes are designed to help children to develop their coordination, balance and strength, as well as their performance skills.
• Drama classes – Our drama classes are designed to help children to explore their creativity and develop their performance skills. Our classes focus on improving children’s confidence, communication and teamwork skills.
• Singing classes – Our singing classes are designed to help children to develop their vocal skills and to explore their creativity. We focus on helping children to find their own unique singing voice.
• Musical theatre classes – Our musical theatre classes are designed to help children to develop their performance skills and to explore their creativity. We focus on helping children to develop their singing, dancing and acting skills.

Our Facilities

Theatretrain Bury St Edmunds is based at the New Bury Community Centre in St Olaves Road, Bury Saint Edmunds. Our facility is equipped with a spacious and well-equipped studio, which is ideal for our classes. We also have a large waiting area for parents and a comfortable changing area for children.
