The Village School of Dance, Dorking (Formerly Surrey Academy of Ballet) is a dance school located in the heart of Dorking, Surrey. Established in the late 1950s, the school has been providing quality dance instruction for over 60 years. Our mission is to provide a fun, safe and creative environment for all ages and abilities to learn and enjoy the art of dance.

We offer a wide variety of dance classes, from ballet and contemporary to hip-hop and Latin. Our highly experienced and qualified teachers will help you to develop your technique and skills, as well as build confidence and self-esteem. We have a range of classes for all ages, from toddlers to adults. We also offer private lessons for those who want to focus on a particular style or technique.

Our classes are held in a bright and airy studio, with a sprung floor and professional sound system. We have a fully equipped changing room and a viewing area for parents and friends. Our teachers are friendly and approachable, and will ensure that you have an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
