What Dancers Say About The Sarah Luke Dance Academy

5/5 from 10 Google reviews.

My eldest daughter has been at Sarah’s school since she was 3 years old – she will be 11 at Christmas! My youngest daughter has also been attending for the last 2 years too since she was also 3. Sarah makes dancing so enjoyable and fun but at the same time she encourages them to grow in technique and confidence and gets amazing results out of all the dancers when they take their exams. Sarah’s school often puts on a show which all the pupils enjoy taking part in and makes such wonderful memories and experiences for them all. Thank you Sarah for your kindness and professionalism and the gift of— Sarah Blackmore

Which dance is best for beginners?

For young children, ballet gives an excellent grounding in posture, coordination and discipline that carries into other styles. Staff can advise on the right starting class.

This academy centres on children and young dancers, so an adult should check what is offered before enrolling. Generally, a style with clear, structured steps is the easiest adult starting point.

Is dancing good for heart failure?

Light, regular movement can benefit general heart health, but anyone with heart failure should consult their GP before starting. A dance school cannot give medical advice, so seek it from a professional first.
