The Performing Arts Depot (The PAD) is a college and education centre located in Dunstable, UK. Founded in 1999, The PAD is dedicated to providing the highest quality of dance instruction, education, and entertainment to the Dunstable area.

Our Mission

The mission of The PAD is to provide our students with an education and training in the performing arts that will enable them to reach their highest potential. We strive to create a safe and supportive environment for our students to explore and nurture their creative talents.

Our History

The Performing Arts Depot was founded in 1999 by a group of passionate dancers and educators from the Dunstable area. Our founders wanted to create a space where dancers of all ages and abilities could come together to learn and grow in the performing arts.

Since then, The PAD has grown to become one of the premier dance schools in the UK. We offer a wide range of classes and programmes for all levels of dancers, from beginners to professionals. Our students have gone on to perform in prestigious venues such as The Royal Albert Hall and Sadler’s Wells.

Our Facilities

The PAD is located in Unit 5 & 6 of the Grove Park Studios in Dunstable. Our facilities include two large studios, a changing room, and a café. We also have a fully stocked shop selling dancewear, shoes, and accessories.

Our Classes

The PAD offers a wide range of classes and programmes tailored to all levels of dancers. We offer classes in ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, hip hop, and musical theatre. We also offer classes for children, teens, adults, and seniors.

Our Events

The PAD hosts a variety of events throughout the year including workshops, masterclasses, and performances. We also host regular social events such as dance parties and competitions.
