The Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts (PQA) Tunbridge Wells is a renowned performing arts school based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Since its establishment in 2011, PQA Tunbridge Wells has been providing quality tuition in dance, drama and singing for children and young people aged 4-18.

The academy is led by Principal, Nicky Jones, who has over 20 years of experience in the performing arts industry. Nicky is supported by a team of highly qualified and experienced teachers, who are all passionate about helping young people to reach their full potential.

At PQA Tunbridge Wells, we believe that everyone has the potential to be a great performer. We strive to provide our students with the best possible training and guidance to help them achieve their goals.

Our mission is to nurture each student’s individual talents and to provide them with the skills and confidence to pursue their dreams. We aim to create a safe and supportive environment where students can explore their creativity and express themselves through the performing arts.

Our Classes

At PQA Tunbridge Wells, we offer a range of classes for all levels and ages. Our classes are designed to help students develop their skills in dance, drama and singing, and to build their confidence and self-esteem.

We offer classes for children aged 4-18, as well as adult classes. Our classes are divided into three age groups: 4-7 years, 8-12 years and 13-18 years. We also offer private tuition for those who wish to pursue individual goals.

Our Facilities

PQA Tunbridge Wells is based at The Skinner’s Kent Academy, Blackhurst Lane, Tunbridge Wells TN2 4PY. The academy is well-equipped with a variety of facilities, including a large studio, rehearsal space and a fully-equipped theatre.

Our Events

At PQA Tunbridge Wells, we regularly host a variety of events, including workshops, performances and competitions. These events provide our students with the opportunity to showcase their talents and to gain valuable performance experience.
