The Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts Stroud (PQA Stroud) is a leading dance, drama, and performing arts school in the UK. Located in Stroud, Gloucestershire, PQA Stroud provides high-quality tuition and performance opportunities for children and young people aged 4 to 18.

Our Mission

At PQA Stroud, our mission is to provide a safe and inspiring environment for young people to explore their creativity and develop their skills in the performing arts. Our experienced and passionate tutors offer a range of classes, from ballet to street dance, drama to musical theatre, and much more. We also provide performance opportunities, such as our annual showcase and regular trips to the West End.

Our Classes

At PQA Stroud, we offer a range of classes for children and young people aged 4 to 18. Our classes are designed to develop skills, build confidence, and encourage creativity. We offer classes in ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, street dance, drama, musical theatre, and more. Our classes are taught by experienced and passionate tutors who are committed to helping students reach their full potential.

Our Performance Opportunities

At PQA Stroud, we provide a range of performance opportunities for our students. Our annual showcase is a chance for our students to show off their talents to family and friends. We also offer regular trips to the West End, giving our students the chance to experience the magic of the theatre.

PQA Stroud is located in the heart of Stroud, Gloucestershire. Our facilities include two spacious studios, a fully-equipped theatre, and a range of changing rooms and rehearsal spaces. We also have a cafe, providing refreshments for our students and staff.
