The Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts (PQA) Harlow is a leading dance school, performing arts group and drama school in Harlow, Essex. Established in 2013, PQA Harlow has quickly become one of the most popular and successful academies in the UK, offering a range of classes for all ages and abilities.

At PQA Harlow, we believe in providing a safe and welcoming environment for our students to learn, grow and develop in the performing arts. We are passionate about providing high-quality tuition and inspiring our students to reach their full potential in the performing arts.

Classes

At PQA Harlow, we offer a wide range of classes and courses for all ages and abilities. Our classes are designed to be fun, engaging and educational, and are led by experienced and qualified teachers.

We offer classes in the following disciplines:

• Dance: Ballet, Tap, Street, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre
• Drama: Acting, Improvisation, Scriptwork, Voice and Accent
• Singing: Pop, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Rock and Roll
• Musical Theatre: Acting, Singing and Dance
• Comedy: Improvisation, Stand-up, Sketch Writing

We also offer a range of holiday workshops and one-off events throughout the year.

Facilities

PQA Harlow is based in the Playhouse at the College Gate in Harlow, Essex. Our state-of-the-art facilities include a fully-equipped theatre, dance studios, rehearsal rooms and a cafe.

Team

PQA Harlow is led by our Principal, Pauline Quirke OBE. Pauline is an experienced and highly-qualified teacher and performer, and is passionate about inspiring and nurturing young talent in the performing arts.

Our team of teachers and staff are all experienced and qualified professionals, who are passionate about providing high-quality tuition and inspiring our students to reach their full potential in the performing arts.
