The Music in Secondary Schools Trust (MISST) is a UK charity that provides music education to secondary schools throughout the country. Founded in 2014, MISST is dedicated to making sure that every student can access a quality music education, regardless of their background or financial situation.
MISST works with schools to provide music education services. These include:
– Instrumental tuition
– Music theory and composition
– Music technology
– Performance and ensemble opportunities
– Music industry education
– Music therapy
We also provide funding for musical instruments, equipment, and other resources.
Since our founding, MISST has had a positive impact on the lives of thousands of students. Our work has helped to improve academic performance, foster creativity, and develop social skills in young people. We are proud to have helped to create a more equitable music education system in the UK.
If you would like to support MISST, there are several ways to get involved. You can donate money, volunteer your time, or help to spread the word about our work.
