Classes & Dance Styles

Line dancing is what the club is all about, with dances taught step by step so newcomers can follow from their very first night. A typical evening walks through the counts of a dance, builds it up gradually, then dances it through to music, all without the need for a partner. Both beginners and improvers are catered for, and the low-impact nature makes it accessible for a wide range of ages and fitness levels. It is a welcoming introduction to a sociable form of dance.

What to Expect on Your First Visit

A newcomer can expect a friendly welcome, no need to bring a partner, and dances broken down slowly so you can join in. Wear comfortable clothing and supportive shoes with soles that let you turn easily, and bring water. The first evening is about following along and enjoying the atmosphere.

If you're interested in line dancing whether as a beginner or an improver, the Lee Enfield Line Dancers will welcome you to their friendly club at Goff's School.
I have been attending on Monday nights for about three and a half years now and I thoroughly enjoy the experience . Sue is an excellent teacher. She has pulled out all the stops to get classes reorganized during the pandemic at the new venue on Mondays and we all have a good laugh. I can vouch for the fact that it helps keep you fit, physically as well as mentally. It is also an opportunity to make new friends.
Apart from the classes— Liz Parker (Liz)
