The Island Dance and Theatre Company is a dance and drama school based in Shanklin, Isle of Wight. We offer a range of classes and workshops for all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced. Our experienced and qualified staff are dedicated to providing a safe and secure learning environment, enabling our students to reach their full potential.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide quality dance and theatre training to our students, helping them to develop their skills, confidence and creativity. We strive to create a fun and safe learning environment, where everyone is welcome and encouraged to reach their goals.

Our Classes and Workshops

At The Island Dance and Theatre Company, we offer a range of classes and workshops for all ages and abilities. Our classes include ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, hip-hop, musical theatre, and drama. We also offer workshops in a variety of dance styles, such as salsa, breakdance, and street dance.

Our Facilities

We are located in St Pauls Church Hall, St Paul’s Cres, Shanklin PO37 7AW. Our facilities include a large dance studio, with sprung wooden floor, mirrors, and a sound system. We also have a drama studio, with stage lighting and sound equipment.

Our experienced and qualified staff are dedicated to providing a safe and secure learning environment, enabling our students to reach their full potential. Our staff are all passionate about dance and theatre, and have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with our students.
