The Devaney School of Irish Dancing is a traditional Irish dance school based in Lincoln, UK. Founded in 1987 by Maureen and Seamus Devaney, the school has been teaching Irish dance to generations of students in the Lincoln area.

Our History

The Devaney School of Irish Dancing was founded in 1987 by Maureen and Seamus Devaney. Maureen and Seamus were both passionate about Irish dancing and wanted to share their love of the art form with the local community. They began teaching classes in their home and soon opened a dedicated dance school in Lincoln.

Since then, the school has grown and now offers classes for all levels of Irish dancing, from beginners to advanced dancers. The school also hosts workshops and special events throughout the year, such as ceilis and workshops with visiting Irish dance instructors.

At The Devaney School of Irish Dancing, we strive to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all students to learn and enjoy Irish dance. Our Classes

Our Location

The Devaney School of Irish Dancing is located at 57 Hawthorn Rd, Lincoln LN2 4QX. We are easily accessible by car and public transport. We are open Monday to Friday from 10am to 8pm, and Saturdays from 9am to 5pm.
