Introduction

The Thanet School of Dance is a professional dance school located in Ramsgate, Kent. Founded in 2010, the school has grown to become a leading provider of dance classes and performance opportunities for dancers of all ages and levels. We offer a wide range of classes in a variety of dance styles, from classical ballet to contemporary, jazz, and tap. We also provide performance opportunities for our students, including annual shows, competitions, and festivals.

Our Classes

At the Thanet School of Dance, we offer a variety of classes for all levels of experience. Classical Ballet

Our classical ballet classes are designed to help students develop their technique and artistry. Our teachers use the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus to guide their classes, and we offer levels from Pre-Primary to Advanced 2.

Contemporary Dance

Our contemporary classes are designed to help students explore their creativity and develop their own unique style. We offer classes for all levels, from beginner to advanced, and our teachers use a range of techniques to guide their classes.

Jazz and Tap Dance

Our jazz and tap classes are designed to help students develop their technique and performance skills. We offer classes for all levels, from beginner to advanced, and our teachers use a range of techniques to guide their classes.

Other Classes

We also offer classes in a range of other styles, including musical theatre, hip hop, and acro.

Performance Opportunities

At the Thanet School of Dance, we provide our students with a range of performance opportunities. Our annual shows give our students the chance to showcase their skills and perform in front of an audience. We also provide our students with the opportunity to take part in competitions and festivals, where they can compete against other dancers and gain valuable experience.
