Welcome to Tenterden Swing, the premier dance school and studio in the Tenterden area. We are passionate about bringing the joy of dance to everyone, no matter their age or experience. Our classes are designed to provide our students with the skills and confidence to become well-rounded dancers.

At Tenterden Swing, we offer a wide range of classes and workshops for all levels. We have classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced dancers. Our classes are taught by experienced and certified instructors who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and love of dance. We also offer private lessons for those who want to focus on specific areas of dance or perfect their technique.

Our studio is equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, as well as a sprung wooden dance floor. We also have a wide selection of music to choose from, ensuring that our classes are always fun and engaging.

Our Classes

Beginner Classes

Our beginner classes are designed to introduce our students to the basics of dance. We focus on teaching the fundamentals of technique, posture, and timing. We also work on developing coordination and musicality.

Intermediate Classes

Our intermediate classes are designed to build on the skills learned in our beginner classes. We focus on refining technique, developing style, and learning more complex steps and patterns.

Advanced Classes

Our advanced classes are designed to challenge our students and push them to the next level. We focus on mastering complex steps and patterns, as well as developing performance skills.

Private Lessons

Our private lessons are designed to give our students the opportunity to focus on specific areas of dance or perfect their technique. Our instructors are experienced and certified, and will work with each student to create a tailored lesson plan that meets their individual needs.

Our Events

At Tenterden Swing, we host a variety of events throughout the year. Our events are designed to bring our community of dancers together and provide an opportunity to show off their skills and have fun. We host regular social dances, competitions, and workshops.
