Temperleys School of Dance is a leading dance school based in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. We are proud to have been teaching dance for over 20 years and our passionate team of professionals have been providing quality dance tuition to all ages and abilities.

At Temperleys, we believe that everyone can benefit from dancing, whether it’s for fun, fitness or to take part in competitions. We offer a wide range of classes, from beginners to advanced, in a variety of dance styles, including Ballroom, Latin American, Street and Social Dance.

Our History

Temperleys School of Dance was founded in 1998 by professional dancers and coaches, Ian and Sue Temperley. The Temperleys have been teaching and competing in Ballroom and Latin American dance for over 40 years, and their passion for dance has been passed on to their students.

Throughout the years, Temperleys has grown and developed to become one of the most respected and successful dance schools in the UK. We have produced many successful dancers who have gone on to compete and win at national and international competitions.

Our Classes

At Temperleys, we offer a wide range of classes for all ages and abilities. We have classes for children, teenagers and adults, and we also offer private tuition and group classes.

Our classes are taught by experienced and qualified dance professionals who are passionate about teaching and helping our students to reach their goals. We have classes in Ballroom, Latin American, Street and Social Dance, and we also offer classes in Argentine Tango and Salsa.

Competitions

At Temperleys, we encourage our students to take part in competitions. We believe that competing is a great way to challenge yourself and to improve your dancing skills. We have a team of experienced coaches who are on hand to help you prepare for competitions and to give you the support and guidance you need to do your best.

Our Facilities

At Temperleys, we are proud to have some of the best facilities in the UK. Our dance studio is fully equipped with a sprung floor, mirrored walls and air conditioning, and we also have a cafe area where you can relax and enjoy refreshments before and after classes.
