TARAMOR School of Irish Dancing is a dance school based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, specialising in teaching traditional Irish dance. Founded in 2009 by Sharon and Tony Taramor, the school has grown from strength to strength and now boasts a large and diverse student base.

The school offers classes for all ages and abilities, from beginner to advanced. Our classes are taught by experienced and qualified teachers, who are dedicated to helping students reach their full potential.

Classes

At TARAMOR School of Irish Dancing, we offer a wide range of classes for all ages and abilities. Our classes are designed to help students build a strong foundation in Irish dance, and to help them progress in their dancing skills and technique.

We offer classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced dancers. Our beginner classes are designed to introduce students to the basics of Irish dance, and to help them develop the skills they need to progress to more advanced classes.

Our intermediate and advanced classes are designed to help students refine their technique and develop their performance skills. We also offer classes in Irish dance choreography, which are designed to help students create their own unique Irish dance routines.

Competitions and Events

At TARAMOR School of Irish Dancing, we are committed to helping our students reach their full potential. We regularly enter our students in competitions and events, both locally and nationally. Our students have achieved great success in these competitions, and we are proud of their achievements.

We also host our own annual competition, the TARAMOR School of Irish Dancing Championship. This competition is open to all our students, and is a great opportunity for them to showcase their skills and compete against their peers.

Our Facilities

At TARAMOR School of Irish Dancing, we are committed to providing our students with the best possible facilities. We are based at the Wilthorpe and Community Centre in Barnsley, which offers a large and spacious dance studio with sprung floors and mirrors.

The studio is fully equipped with the latest sound and lighting systems, and is the perfect space for our classes and events. We also have a dedicated changing room and showers, so that our students can change and freshen up after their classes.
