TADAA – The Alternative Dramatic Arts Academy – Waterlooville is a performing arts group, performing arts theatre and dance school based in Waterlooville, Hampshire. The Academy offers a wide range of classes and activities for all ages and abilities.

Our Mission

At TADAA our mission is to create a safe and supportive environment that encourages and celebrates creativity and self-expression. We strive to ensure that all our students have access to the best performing arts education and experiences, and to create a platform for them to develop their skills and talents.

Our Classes

We offer a range of classes for all ages and abilities, including:

• Ballet
• Tap
• Jazz
• Contemporary
• Hip-hop
• Musical theatre
• Drama
• Voice
• Acrobatics

We also offer a range of specialised classes for children and adults, such as:

• Creative movement
• Movement for wellbeing
• Modern dance
• Yoga
• Pilates

We also have a variety of workshops and masterclasses throughout the year, which are open to all ages and abilities.

Our Facilities

The Academy is equipped with two large dance studios, a theatre, a costume room and a rehearsal room. The studios are fully equipped with sprung floors, mirrors, barres and sound systems. The theatre is equipped with a stage, lighting and sound system, and can accommodate up to 100 people.

Our team of experienced and dedicated teachers and staff are committed to providing the highest quality of teaching and support. Our teachers are all qualified and experienced in their respective disciplines, and have a passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation of performers.
