Swingland is a premier swing dance school and event space located in London. We specialize in teaching and hosting swing dance classes and events for all ages and levels. Our History

Swingland was founded in 2003 by swing dance enthusiast and instructor, C Jam. C Jam has been teaching swing dance for over 20 years and has dedicated her life to sharing her passion with others. In 2008, she opened The 1931 Club, a swing dance club located in London. The club quickly became a popular destination for swing dancers from all over the world. In 2016, C Jam and The 1931 Club joined forces to become Swingland, offering the best of both worlds – a swing dance school and a swing dance club.

At Swingland, our mission is to make swing dancing accessible to everyone. We strive to provide a welcoming and supportive environment where people can come together to learn, practice, and enjoy the art of swing dancing. We believe that learning to swing dance should be a fun and enjoyable experience. Our classes and events are designed to help dancers of all levels develop their skills and confidence.
