Introduction

Swing Tyne is a ballroom and Latin dance school based in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. We offer a range of classes for beginners through to professionals, as well as social dances and events. Our classes are held in a beautiful, spacious venue with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our instructors are experienced and passionate about ballroom and Latin dancing, and will help you to develop your skills and confidence.

History

Swing Tyne was founded in 2005 by husband and wife team, David and Sarah. Their passion for dance led them to open the school, and since then they have been dedicated to providing the best possible dance experience in Newcastle upon Tyne. The school has grown and developed over the years, and now offers a wide range of classes and events.

Classes

At Swing Tyne, we offer a range of classes for all levels of experience. Our classes are designed to help you develop your skills and confidence, and are suitable for beginners through to professionals. We offer classes in a range of styles, including Ballroom, Latin, Salsa, Tango, and more. We also offer private lessons for those who want to focus on specific areas of their dancing.

Events

Swing Tyne hosts a range of social dances and events throughout the year. Our events are a great way to meet new people, have fun, and practice your dancing. We also host regular competitions and showcases, giving you the opportunity to show off your skills and compete against other dancers.

Venue

Swing Tyne is based in the Summerhill Bowling Club in Newcastle upon Tyne. The venue is spacious and comfortable, with a relaxed atmosphere. The venue is fully equipped with a bar and kitchen, and has a large dance floor for our classes and events.

At Swing Tyne, we have a team of experienced and passionate instructors. Our instructors are dedicated to helping you to develop your skills and confidence, and are always happy to answer any questions you may have. Our instructors are all highly trained and experienced in ballroom and Latin dancing, and are committed to providing the best possible experience for our students.
