What Dancers Say About Sutton Coldfield Beginners Salsa & Bachata Classes

5/5 from 2 Google reviews.

I started salsa classes with Ryan back in January 2018 & regularly attend both the Sutton Coldfield (Tuesdays) and Cannock (Wednesdays) classes. I had previously tried lessons with another provider in the centre of Birmingham, but had struggled to make progress due to being lost in the mix of a very large group. However, when I swapped to Uksalsafeet, I immediately made significant improvements due to receiving much more individualised feedback. As a result, I have become much more confident as a dancer, which also means that I get to enjoy the fabulous salsa parties that Ryan regularly hosts.— Stephen Nicholls

Friendly and welcoming teachers and pupils.
No need to bring a partner.
Lessons are low cost and are for complete novices up to expert salseros.— Michael Anderton

Fun, positive classes. Enjoyable atmosphere, patient tutors. Would recommend— NevJamGal Meadow

Frequently Asked Questions

How hard is it to learn salsa?

The basic step comes quickly, often within a single class, while timing and styling develop with practice. Regular attendance is the key to progress.

Can a non-dancer learn salsa?

Yes, and these classes are aimed squarely at complete novices. Reviewers note tutors are patient and lessons start from the very beginning.

How long before a wedding should you take dance lessons?

Several months ahead is sensible, as it gives time to learn and rehearse a routine without pressure. For a simpler first dance, a few weeks can suffice; contact the teachers to plan around your date.

How many dances do couples do at a wedding?

Most couples perform one first dance, though some add a second or a group dance later on. It comes down to personal preference and how much you want to prepare.

Can you learn to dance without a partner?

Yes. These classes rotate partners and welcome solo dancers, so you can attend alone with no difficulty.

What should I wear to a beginner dance class?

Comfortable clothing you can move in and smooth-soled shoes are ideal for salsa and bachata. Bring water, as the classes can get lively.
