About Us

Stagecoach Performing Arts Whitstable and Faversham is a thriving dance school, performing arts group and drama school located in Whitstable, Kent. We offer a wide range of classes for children aged 4-18, including ballet, tap, jazz, modern, hip-hop, street dance, musical theatre, singing and drama. Our experienced and highly qualified teachers are passionate about developing young talent and helping them to reach their full potential.

We have a strong commitment to providing a safe and stimulating learning environment for our students, and we strive to maintain the highest standards of teaching and performance. We believe in nurturing the creativity and self-expression of each individual, and we are dedicated to helping our students develop their confidence and self-esteem through the performing arts.

Classes and Activities

At Stagecoach Whitstable and Faversham, we offer a wide range of classes and activities for children aged 4-18. Our classes are divided into three age groups: 4-6, 7-10 and 11-18.

For our youngest students, we offer classes in Creative Movement, Ballet and Tap. Our Creative Movement classes are designed to introduce children to the basics of movement and coordination, while our Ballet and Tap classes focus on developing technique and performance skills.

For our older students, we offer classes in Jazz, Modern, Hip-Hop, Street Dance, Musical Theatre, Singing and Drama. Our Jazz and Modern classes focus on developing technique and performance skills, while our Hip-Hop, Street Dance and Musical Theatre classes are designed to help students explore their creative potential. Our Singing and Drama classes provide a platform for our students to express themselves and develop their confidence and self-esteem.

Performances

At Stagecoach Whitstable and Faversham, we believe in giving our students the opportunity to perform and showcase their talents. We regularly host performances at local theatres, as well as at our own venue, the Swalecliffe Community Primary School. Our performances are open to the public and provide an excellent opportunity for our students to demonstrate their skills and gain valuable experience of performing on a professional stage.

Competitions and Festivals

At Stagecoach Whitstable and Faversham, we are committed to providing our students with the opportunity to participate in competitions and festivals. We regularly enter our students in local and national competitions, and we also organise our own festivals and events. These events provide our students with the opportunity to compete against other performers and gain valuable experience of performing on a professional stage.
