Stagecoach Performing Arts Welwyn-Hatfield is a leading provider of performing arts education in the UK. Based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, we offer a wide range of classes and activities for children and young people aged 4-18.

Our Mission

Our mission is to inspire and nurture the creativity and confidence of children and young people through the performing arts. We strive to create a safe and supportive environment in which our students can explore the world of theatre, music and dance and develop their skills and talents.

Our Classes

At Stagecoach Welwyn-Hatfield we offer a range of classes for children and young people aged 4-18. Our classes are divided into three age groups: 4-6 (Mini Stages), 6-10 (Main Stages) and 10-18 (Senior Stages). We also offer classes in drama, singing, music and dance.

Our Facilities

Our Welwyn Garden City centre is equipped with a range of facilities to support our classes and activities. Our theatre is a fully equipped, professional space which can accommodate up to 300 people. We also have a recording studio, a dance studio, a music room and a range of other spaces for our students to use.

Our Team

At Stagecoach Welwyn-Hatfield we are proud to have a team of highly experienced and qualified teachers and staff. Our teachers are all DBS checked and have extensive experience in performing arts education. We also have a team of dedicated volunteers who help us to run our classes and activities.

Our Shop

Our on-site shop stocks a range of dancewear, costumes and accessories for our students. We also offer a range of books, DVDs and CDs related to the performing arts.

Our Events

Throughout the year we host a range of events and performances including our annual Summer Showcase and Christmas Concert. We also run regular workshops and masterclasses in a variety of disciplines.
