Welcome to Springhead Dancing Academy, the UK’s premier dance school located in Hull. We are a family-run business that has been providing quality instruction in all types of dance for over 15 years. Our mission is to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for our students to learn and practice the art of dance.

Our History

Springhead Dancing Academy was founded in 2005 by two passionate dance enthusiasts, John and Laura Smith. The school was originally located in a small studio in Hull, but quickly outgrew its space and expanded into the Church of St Thomas in Hotham Rd S. The school has since become one of the most respected and successful dance schools in the UK.

Our Instructors

At Springhead Dancing Academy, we pride ourselves on having a team of highly experienced and qualified instructors. Our instructors are passionate about dance and have a wealth of knowledge and experience in all styles of dance. We offer classes in ballroom, Latin, salsa, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and more.

Our Facilities

At Springhead Dancing Academy, we provide a safe and comfortable environment for our students to learn and practice the art of dance. Our facilities include a large dance studio with a sprung floor, mirrors, and sound system, and a separate changing area with lockers. We also have a lounge area with comfortable seating and refreshments available.

Our classes are suitable for both beginners and experienced dancers, and our instructors are always on hand to offer guidance and advice.
