Founded in 2020, the school offers a variety of dance classes for all ages and abilities. From ballet and tap to contemporary and street dance, students can find the perfect class for them.

At Shannon Newton Dance, we strive to provide a safe and encouraging environment for students to explore their creativity through dance. We aim to offer an accessible and inspiring experience, providing classes that are tailored to suit the individual needs of our students.

Our Team

The school is led by Shannon Newton, a highly experienced and qualified dance instructor. Shannon has been teaching for over 20 years and is passionate about creating an inclusive and enjoyable learning experience for all of her students. She is supported by a team of experienced teachers who share her enthusiasm for dance and for helping students to reach their full potential.

Classes

Shannon Newton Dance offers a range of classes for all ages and abilities. Our classes range from beginner to advanced and include ballet, tap, contemporary, jazz, and street dance. We also offer fun and creative classes for children, such as our ‘Fairytale Ballet’ classes, which combine storytelling with dance.

Events & Competitions

At Shannon Newton Dance, we are passionate about encouraging our students to take part in competitions and events. We believe that these experiences can help to build confidence and develop skills that can be taken into other areas of life. We regularly host workshops and masterclasses with professional dancers, as well as regular competitions and performances.

Facilities

Shannon Newton Dance is based in Suite 6, Trixter Studios 1st Floor in Stroud GL5 2AY. Our studio is equipped with a sprung wooden floor, full-length mirrors, and a sound system. We also have a changing room and a comfortable waiting area for parents.
