About Us

SD Studios is Portsmouth’s premier dance school and performing arts group. We offer a wide range of classes and activities for children and adults of all ages and abilities. Our team of experienced teachers and choreographers are dedicated to helping our students realise their potential and reach their goals.

SD Studios was founded in 2009 by dance enthusiast and choreographer, Sarah Davis. Since then, the company has grown from strength to strength, becoming one of the most successful dance schools and performing arts groups in the South of England. We have a strong reputation for quality tuition and our classes are always full of enthusiastic dancers.

At SD Studios, we believe that dance is for everyone. We offer classes in a range of styles, including ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary and hip hop. We also have a variety of performing arts classes, such as acting and singing. Our classes are tailored to suit the individual needs of our students, and we strive to create a safe and supportive environment where everyone can enjoy themselves.

Our Facilities

SD Studios is based in a purpose-built facility in the heart of Portsmouth. Our studios are equipped with the latest technology and equipment to ensure that our students receive the best possible tuition. We have three large studios, each with a sprung floor, full-length mirrors and a sound system. We also have a comfortable waiting area and a cafe, where our students can relax and socialise.

Our Classes

At SD Studios, we offer a range of classes for all ages and abilities. Our classes are designed to help our students develop their skills, build confidence and have fun. We have classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced dancers, as well as classes for those who want to compete.

Our classes are divided into age groups, and we offer classes for children aged three and above. We also have classes for adults, and we offer a range of classes for those who want to get fit and have fun.

Performances

At SD Studios, we believe that performing is an important part of any dancer’s development. We have an annual show, which gives our students the opportunity to showcase their talents and gain valuable performance experience. We also have a team of professional performers who are available for hire for private events and corporate functions.
