The Scottish Official Highland Dancing Association (SOHDA) is a dance club and service establishment located in the United Kingdom. Founded in 1994, SOHDA is dedicated to the promotion of Highland Dancing and its culture, and serves as a platform for the education and development of Highland Dancing in the UK.
SOHDA was founded in 1994 by a group of Highland Dancing enthusiasts who wanted to promote and preserve the traditional dance form. Since then, the association has grown to become one of the most respected Highland Dancing organizations in the UK.
The association is a registered charity and is governed by a board of trustees. It is also a member of the International Highland Dancing Association and the British Council for Scottish Culture.

SOHDA offers a range of membership options to suit different needs. Members can choose from individual, family, or group memberships. All members receive a membership card, access to SOHDA’s online resources, discounts on events and merchandise, and invitations to exclusive events.
SOHDA organizes and hosts a variety of events and competitions throughout the year. These include the Scottish Official Highland Dancing Championships, the UK Highland Dancing Championships, and the International Highland Dancing Championships. In addition, SOHDA also hosts workshops and seminars to help members learn and develop their skills.
