I joined Salsa Squad as a complete beginner about 4 years ago, and I regularly attend their weekly events. Paul and the team are so friendly and welcoming, they make you feel part of the gang from day one. If you're looking to meet people this is by far the best way to do it! Even if you can't dance a single step they'll teach you the basics in a positive, fun way without any judgement. And don't feel like you have to go with a friend or partner, most people go alone, and you'll make so many new friends you'll be absolutely fine. If you want to learn to dance salsa and do so in a learner friendly environment then I can HIGHLY recommend doing so with Salsa Squad. When I first went along I was terrified of looking foolish because the quality of the more experienced dancers is impressive. However they took me by the hand (literally) and step by step walked me through the basics. Learning the moves was not only easy the way they teach it, but it was fun too.
