Rhythm & Vibes Dance Co is a WHOLE VIBE @Salsa Temple!
By providing multiple different levels for their classes they make it easy to find the right entry point for you and will coach you through the levels as you progress.
They also host socials almost every night they run which is really unique to them and allows you to practice and compound what you learn in the lessons which is super valuable.
The teachers themselves are both excellent dancers and instructors. The vibes overall is always good humoured, energetic and fun.— Thino Shanni
Richard and Luisa bring so much fun and energy to their Kizomba and Semba lessons. They really focus on technique and make sure you have the foundations from beginner and improver classes before encouraging you into the intermediate level. But it's a relax atmosphere where people take their dancing seriously but not themselves! It's taken me a long time to find a school in a new city that is this welcoming and fun, and where i can't wait to go after a long day at work!— Alison Berner
One of the best Latin dance schools in London. Everyone is extremely friendly and in the few months I've been there I've made a ton of friends. The teachers are amazing and super approachable. In the 6 months I've been there I've progressed through two levels and continued to feel equally challenged and inspired by the teaching stuff while having a real sense of community and fun. Tuesday nights in Stockwell and Fridays in Tooting are my favourite. Highly recommend!— Polina Changuleva
Amazing atmosphere and amazing teachers. Thank you so much for giving me a warm welcome and having patience with each individual to make sure everyone got the moves right until teaching new moves. I am really happy to be part of this dacing family and thank you so much for all the lesson's and support you gave me to be where I am now.
I recommend to everyone who wants to learn new dancing style to join this amazing family.— ramona blanaru
The basics of salsa come fairly quickly, and the main early hurdle is simply getting used to the timing. With regular classes and a bit of social dancing, most people feel comfortable within a few months.
Yes, complete non-dancers are exactly who the beginner classes are for. You start from the ground up and build confidence gradually.
Learning ballet as an adult is very achievable when taught at an appropriate level. While the focus here is Latin dance, adult ballet classes elsewhere welcome newcomers of any age.
No age is too late to enjoy ballet as a hobby. Adult classes prioritise posture, control and enjoyment rather than aiming at a stage career.
Line dancing typically starts with moves like the grapevine, step-touch, kick-ball-change, pivot turn and simple weight changes. These combine into short, repeatable sequences.
Short routines built on a basic grapevine and step-touch are usually the gentlest introduction. This school specialises in Latin styles, so ask around for dedicated line dancing sessions.
