What would make me travel a 2 hour round journey, every Wednesday evening for the last six months without fail ???, Dsantos UK is the answer.
Aside from the amazing venue, great vibes, addictive music and the hospitality of the team, there are four levels of teaching with international standard teachers who are funny, warm and welcoming and who have thus far taken me from an absolute beginner, to a newly confident improver with two other levels to look forward to.Dsantos UK seem to have found the perfect combination of high levels of professionalism, whilst creating a family atmosphere of fu— H.A Nicola
I've really enjoyed going to Bachata and Salsa beginners lessons. Before coming I basically never danced but the atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming after a few minutes I felt very comfortable and really enjoyed getting stuck in. The teachers are all very friendly and take a lot of care to make sure everyone can keep up with what they're teaching. I'm using the 5 class introductory pass at the moment which is really good value for what you get too 🙂 Thanks to Richard and team for hosting really fun classes!— Pip Wilkinson
Lovely and most welcoming social dance team, both the teachers and regular dancers you're guaranteed to have a fun-tastic night there. Richard and Manon are putting a huge effort to make sure people are happy and always adding and spicing things up, making it the highlight of the week for many of us! There's 3 classes for salsa and bachata on Tuesdays and kizomba on Wednesdays, plus socials every Friday starting soon!— Despina Papantoniou
I love most forms of dance and have had many good teachers of ballet , tap, flamenco and belly dancing .
Salsa is my most recent passion and I have been learning with a few different teachers, for me Richards way of teaching really works, and there's such a friendly, fun, and welcoming atmosphere, I definitely recommend trying it whether you're a beginner or more advanced dancer.— Lois Bainbridge
Salsa is easy to start, with the basic step learned in a first class, and it deepens as you add turns and musicality. Social dancing generally comes within a few weeks of regular practice.
Yes, most beginners here have never danced before, and the fundamentals are taught from scratch. No experience is needed.
Adults can take up ballet and build posture and control over time. This club focuses on Latin styles, so ballet would be pursued at a dedicated school.
No age is too late to enjoy ballet for pleasure and fitness. People begin at all stages of life.
Frequent basics include the grapevine, the shuffle, the pivot turn, the kick-ball-change and the heel dig. These moves build the routines danced socially.
A short four-wall dance with a repeating sequence is the easiest to begin with. As this club specialises in Latin dancing, ask them directly about their weekly classes.
