History

Nottingham Lindy Hop was founded in 2009 by a group of passionate swing dancers. Since then, we have grown to become one of the most popular swing dance schools and clubs in the UK. We are proud to have been a part of the swing dance revival in the UK and we strive to continue to promote and teach swing dancing to the masses.

Classes and Events

Nottingham Lindy Hop offers a variety of classes for all levels of dancers. We have beginner classes for those who are just starting out, intermediate classes for those who want to learn more advanced moves, and advanced classes for those who want to perfect their technique. We also offer social dances, workshops, and special events throughout the year.

Beginners Classes

Our beginner classes are designed to give you a solid foundation in swing dancing. We will teach you the basic steps and moves so that you can start to have fun and look good on the dance floor. Our classes are taught in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, so you can take your time and learn at your own pace.

Nottingham Lindy Hop is located at St Christopher’s Church Hall in Sneinton, Nottingham. The church hall is conveniently located and is easy to get to by car or public transport. We also offer ample parking for those who wish to drive.
