The New Mills Dance & Theatre Centre is located in the High Peak area of Derbyshire, England, and has been a hub for dance and theatre in the region for over 20 years. Our mission is to provide a creative and inspiring environment for all those interested in exploring the art of dance and theatre.

History

The New Mills Dance & Theatre Centre was established in 1995 by a local family. Since then, the Centre has grown to become one of the leading dance and theatre schools in the area, offering classes in a wide range of styles and disciplines. The Centre is well-known for its high-quality teaching and its friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Facilities

The New Mills Dance & Theatre Centre is located in the heart of the High Peak area, with easy access to the M1 motorway and the Peak District National Park. The Centre is situated in a large building with two large dance studios, a theatre, and a range of other facilities. The dance studios are equipped with sprung floors, mirrors, and sound systems, while the theatre has a professional lighting system and a large stage.

Classes

The New Mills Dance & Theatre Centre offers classes for all ages and abilities. We offer classes in a wide range of styles, including ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and musical theatre.
