Marron Theatre Arts: The UK’s Premier Dance School

Marron Theatre Arts, based in Blaydon-on-Tyne, is the UK’s premier dance school. Founded in 1998, Marron Theatre Arts has been providing quality dance instruction and performance opportunities to students of all ages and abilities for over 20 years.

Our Mission

At Marron Theatre Arts, our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment for students to explore their creativity and passion for dance. We strive to foster an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere that encourages self-expression through movement. Our goal is to help our students develop the skills and confidence necessary to reach their full potential as dancers.

Our Programs

Marron Theatre Arts offers a variety of dance classes and programs for students of all ages and abilities. Our classes include ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, hip hop, and street dance. We also offer specialised classes such as yoga, pilates, and Zumba. Our programs are designed to help students build strength, flexibility, and coordination while developing their technique and performance skills.

In addition to our regular classes, we also offer a range of performance opportunities for our students. We host an annual showcase and competition for our students to show off their skills and creativity. We also have a variety of performance teams that compete in regional and national competitions.

Our Facilities

Marron Theatre Arts is located in the historic Magistrates Court building in Blaydon-on-Tyne. Our facility features three spacious studios, each equipped with a professional sound system and sprung floors. We also have a fully equipped costume shop and a range of props and equipment available for our students to use.

At Marron Theatre Arts, we are proud to have a team of highly qualified and experienced teachers. Our teachers are passionate about dance and are dedicated to helping our students reach their full potential. All of our teachers are fully qualified and have extensive experience in the dance industry.
