All 3 of my daughters have attended this dance school. Standards are high, but not at the expense of fun. Good range of classes catering for those just looking to a bit of fun all the way through to those looking for high attainment. Highly recommended.— Jonathan Chambers
Yes, most classes here are group-based and taught without the need for a set partner. Solo styles such as tap, modern and jazz are designed for individual learning, and even partnered dances are often taught in rotation.
Comfortable clothing you can move freely in, along with soft flat shoes, is perfectly fine to start. As your child settles into a particular style, the school can advise on the correct dancewear and footwear.
Fees vary by class length, style and whether you book a term or block. For current pricing it is best to contact the school directly, as they can explain the options for your child.
Styles with clear, repeatable steps such as tap or modern tend to suit newcomers well. The right starting point often depends on the child's age and interests, which the teachers can help you weigh up.
Adults often begin with something sociable and low-pressure, though this school focuses mainly on children and young people. It is worth contacting them to ask what is available for older learners.
Gentle, regular dancing can support general cardiovascular health for many people, but anyone with a heart condition should seek medical advice first. A doctor can advise on suitable intensity before you begin.
