The Linda Mortimore and Charlotte Smith School of Dance (LMCSD) is a dance school located in Plymouth, UK. Founded in 2016, LMCSD is dedicated to providing quality dance instruction to students of all ages and abilities.

Our Mission

At LMCSD, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy of dance. Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive environment where students can develop their skills and self-confidence through dance. We strive to create an atmosphere of respect and appreciation for the art of dance, and to foster a sense of community among our students and staff.

Our Classes

LMCSD offers a wide range of classes for all ages and abilities, from beginner to advanced. Our classes include ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and ballroom. We also offer special classes for children, teens, and adults.

Our Instructors

Our instructors are professional dancers and experienced teachers who are dedicated to helping students reach their full potential. Our instructors have a passion for teaching and strive to create an enjoyable learning environment for all of our students.

Our Facilities

LMCSD has two studios, both of which are equipped with sprung floors, mirrors, and sound systems. Our studios are designed to provide a comfortable and safe space for our students to learn and practice their dance moves.

Our Events

We host a variety of events throughout the year, including dance competitions, workshops, and performances. These events provide our students with the opportunity to showcase their talents and to connect with other dancers in the community.
