History
KOKO began life as the Camden Theatre, and was a popular destination for music-lovers throughout the 20th century. In the 70s and 80s, the venue became renowned for its punk and new wave gigs, with acts such as The Clash, The Sex Pistols, and The Smiths all playing there.
In 2004, the venue underwent a major refurbishment and was renamed KOKO. Since then, it has become a regular spot for some of the world’s biggest acts, with the likes of Adele, Arctic Monkeys, and The Killers all gracing its stage.
