Keep Dancing from Christchurch is a professional dance school and studio that offers a wide range of dance classes and courses for all levels and ages. Our mission is to bring passion and joy to the world of dance, and to create a safe and inclusive environment for our students to learn and grow.

Our History

Keep Dancing from Christchurch was founded in 2002 by professional dancer and choreographer, Richard Smith. Richard has been dancing since he was a child and has been teaching dance for over 20 years. He has a passion for bringing the joy of dance to everyone, regardless of age or ability.

In the early days, Richard focused on teaching traditional ballroom and Latin dance styles, but over the years Keep Dancing from Christchurch has grown to include a wide range of dance styles, from contemporary to hip hop.

Our team is made up of experienced and passionate dance teachers, all of whom are highly qualified and experienced in their respective disciplines. We have a wide range of teachers, from those who specialize in traditional ballroom and Latin dance styles to those who are experts in contemporary and hip hop.

Our Facilities

Keep Dancing from Christchurch is located in the heart of Christchurch, in the beautiful Bargates area. Our studio is fully equipped with the latest technology and equipment, and we have a wide range of classes and courses available for all levels and ages.
