Comfortable clothing your child can move freely in, plus the correct shoes for the style. The school can tell you exactly what is required before the first class.

How much does a dance class usually cost?

Fees vary with class length and whether you book by term. Ask the school directly for its current rates.

Which dance is best for beginners?

For children, styles such as ballet, tap and jazz are popular starting points. The best choice is often the one your child is keenest to try.

What is the best dance to start as an adult?

Adults tend to enjoy ballroom, salsa or tap, all taught from scratch in beginner classes. A style you genuinely like is the one you are most likely to stick with.

Is dancing good for heart failure?

Gentle dancing can be part of a healthy routine, but anyone with heart failure should check with their doctor first. Medical guidance should shape how active you are.
