I don’t understand negative reviews here. My daughter has been with Kalinka for 5 years and I couldn’t be more happy with Irina. She is a true professional, teaching to a very high standard.

One review said she was strict, but she is just maintaining the discipline required for every child to benefit from her teaching. Kids this age can be full of energy and a bit unruly, but Irina masterfully handles her classes of girls (and a few boys) in the most respectful way.

Also not sure why someone found appropriate to comment about segregation, the classes are very international and mixed.

My daughter and I studied at Kalinka Dance Studio for over ten years. The teacher, Irina is a strict but kind teacher. She spots children who want and willing to learn and gives them an opportunity to grow on the dance floor and on stage. There are opportunities to compete with other local children ballet schools, and if won to compete at the national level! Every year Irina prepares a ballet show of around 25 to 30 dances in a hired theatre, to show all the parents what their children were busy with. My daughter has been coming to Leighton Buzzard classes since they started. The classes are very well organised by the teacher Irina. She has an excellent method of teaching which her students are able to understand and pick up. My daughter really loves coming and looks forward to going every week.
