About

JK Dance Academy is a dance school, dance company and dance academy based in Rickmansworth, England. Founded in 2016 by John and Karen Smith, JK Dance Academy offers a wide range of classes and courses for all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced dancers. We are passionate about providing a safe and supportive environment for our students to learn, grow and develop their skills.

Our mission is to provide the highest quality dance instruction, education and performance opportunities in the UK, and to share our love of dance with our students. We strive to create a positive, inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for all our students, and to ensure that everyone feels valued and respected.

At JK Dance Academy, we are proud to offer a wide range of classes and courses in ballroom, Latin, salsa, hip-hop, contemporary, jazz and ballet. We also offer private lessons, group classes, workshops and special events. Our classes are taught by experienced and qualified teachers, and we are committed to providing the highest quality instruction and guidance.

Classes and Courses

At JK Dance Academy, we offer a wide range of classes and courses for all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced dancers. Our classes are taught by experienced and qualified teachers, and we are committed to providing the highest quality instruction and guidance.

Our classes include:

• Ballroom: We offer classes in both International and Latin styles of ballroom, including waltz, tango, cha cha, rumba and more.
• Latin: Our Latin classes include salsa, samba, cha cha, rumba, jive and more.
• Hip-hop: We offer classes in both street and breakdance styles of hip-hop, as well as classes in popping and locking.
• Contemporary: Our contemporary classes include modern, lyrical and jazz styles.
• Ballet: We offer classes in classical ballet, as well as classes in pointe and character.

We also offer private lessons, group classes, workshops and special events.

Facilities

At JK Dance Academy, we are proud to offer a state-of-the-art facility for our students. Our studio is located at Coolhurst Tennis Club (Dance Studio, Coolhurst Rd, London N8 8EY and is equipped with a sprung floor, mirrors, and a sound system.
