Jazzy J’s Dance Academy is a dance school based in York, UK. Founded in 2020 by former competitive dancer and choreographer Jazzy J, the academy is dedicated to providing high quality dance tuition to all ages and abilities. The academy offers a wide range of classes, including ballet, tap, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, and salsa.

Classes & Courses

Jazzy J’s Dance Academy offers classes for both adults and children. Our classes are designed to be fun and engaging, while also helping to develop technique and skills.

We offer a range of courses, from beginner to advanced level. Our beginner courses are designed to introduce students to the basics of each style of dance, while our advanced courses are designed to challenge and develop more experienced dancers.

We also offer private lessons for those who want to focus on specific skills or styles of dance. Private lessons are tailored to the individual’s needs and goals.

Facilities

Jazzy J’s Dance Academy has two locations: one in Acomb Court, York, and one in Bilbrough Village Hall, York. Both locations are fully equipped with sprung floors, mirrors, and sound systems.

The academy also has a range of costumes and props available for use in classes.

Staff

Jazzy J’s Dance Academy is staffed by experienced and qualified dance teachers. All of our teachers have extensive experience in the dance industry, and are passionate about helping students to reach their goals.

We also have a team of administrative staff who are available to answer any questions or queries you may have.

Events

Jazzy J’s Dance Academy hosts a range of events throughout the year. We host regular performances, showcases, and competitions, as well as social events and workshops.

We also offer private events, such as birthday parties and corporate team building events.
