About Us

Jane Mackinnon School of Dance offers quality dance instruction to students of all ages and abilities in the Southampton area. Founded in 1972, we have been providing quality dance instruction for over 40 years. Our mission is to provide a safe and fun environment for our students to learn, grow, and express themselves through the art of dance. Our experienced and highly qualified staff are passionate about teaching and strive to ensure our students reach their full potential.

At Jane Mackinnon School of Dance, we offer a variety of dance classes, ranging from ballroom and Latin American to tap and ballet. We also offer classes for those who are new to dancing, as well as more advanced classes for those who want to further their skills. Our classes are suitable for all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced dancers.

Our Facilities

Jane Mackinnon School of Dance is located in the heart of Southampton at 20 Horsebridge Way, Nursling. Our facilities are modern and spacious, and we have a range of equipment to help our students learn and progress. We have two large dance studios, each with a sprung wooden floor and air conditioning, as well as mirrors and a ballet barre. We also have a lounge area for our students to relax and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee before or after their classes.
