History

Helen Wilman has been teaching ballet for over 15 years in the UK and abroad. She has trained in a variety of styles of ballet, including classical ballet, contemporary ballet, and jazz ballet. In 2011, Helen decided to open her own school in Hebden Bridge, and the Helen Wilman School of Dance was born.

Philosophy

At the Helen Wilman School of Dance, we believe that ballet should be accessible to everyone. We offer classes for all levels, from beginner to advanced, and believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy and beauty of ballet. We strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment for our students, and our teachers are highly trained and experienced in teaching ballet.

Classes

The Helen Wilman School of Dance offers a variety of classes for all levels. We offer classes for children aged 3 and up, as well as adult classes. We also offer private lessons for those who wish to take their ballet training to the next level.

Facilities

The Helen Wilman School of Dance is housed in the Waterside Gym in Hebden Bridge. The gym offers a spacious and modern facility, with two large studios, a changing room, and a waiting area. The studio is well-equipped with mirrors, ballet barres, and a sound system.
