Our Mission

The Helen Laxton School of Dance is committed to providing the highest quality dance tuition and experiences to our students. We strive to ensure that our students are able to reach their full potential, and we are passionate about helping them to develop and discover their own unique style of dance.

Our Team

The Helen Laxton School of Dance is led by our founder and principal, Helen Laxton. Helen is a qualified dance teacher with over 25 years of experience in the industry. She is passionate about teaching and has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with her students.

Helen is supported by a team of experienced and qualified dance instructors, who are all passionate about helping our students to reach their full potential. Our team has a wide range of experience, from teaching beginners to advanced dancers, and from ballroom to Latin American styles of dance.

Our Facilities

The Helen Laxton School of Dance is based in Yeovil, in the South West of England. Our facilities include two large dance studios, with sprung wooden floors and full-length mirrors, as well as a dedicated changing room and reception area.

We also offer a range of additional facilities, such as a café, a fitness studio, and a library. Our library is stocked with a range of books and DVDs on dance, as well as a selection of magazines and newspapers.

Our Classes

At the Helen Laxton School of Dance, we offer a wide range of classes for all ages and abilities. Our classes range from beginner to advanced level, and include ballroom, Latin American, and street dance styles.

We also offer a range of private lessons, which are tailored to the individual needs of the student. Private lessons are a great way to focus on specific areas of dance, and to develop individual skills.

Our Events
