Our History

Hannon Murphy School of Irish Dance was founded in 2005 by John and Mary Hannon Murphy. Since then, we have grown to become one of the most respected Irish dance schools in the UK. We have been featured on BBC Radio, BBC Television, and in several newspapers and magazines. We are proud to be a part of the Newcastle upon Tyne community and to share our passion for Irish dance with our students.

Our Instructors

At Hannon Murphy School of Irish Dance, we are proud to have some of the most experienced and highly qualified instructors in the UK. Our instructors are certified by the Irish Dance Commission and have decades of experience teaching and performing Irish dance. Our instructors are passionate about teaching and are dedicated to providing our students with the highest quality of instruction.

Our Classes
